Pamela Peavy Pierce

A shareholder of Downs & Stanford, P.C., Ms. Pierce’s focus is representing clients in workers’ compensation cases and managing client relations for the workers’ compensation section of the firm. Her experience spans over thirty years of litigation. Pamela is board certified in Workers’ Compensation Law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization.

Pamela represents insurance carriers, employers, self-insureds, and political subdivisions in workers’ compensation matters. She is a Commissioner with the Texas Board of Legal Specialization and participates in writing and grading the workers’ compensation board certification exam. Pamela’s prior legal experience includes managing and operating her own workers’ compensation defense firm, and handling toxic tort and medical malpractice defense cases. She appears before the Texas Department of Insurance, Division of Workers’ Compensation where she represents clients in the dispute resolution process. Pamela is a dynamic, sought after speaker who provides seminars to adjusters, employers, and political subdivisions. When not working, Pamela enjoys white water rafting, stand-up paddle boarding, scuba diving, camping, and hiking.
