Kevin Thompson is an associate at Downs & Stanford, P.C., focusing on worker’s compensation, employer liability claims, automobile collisions, construction claims, products liability, premises liability, contract claims, and coverage litigation.  Kevin has over thirty-seven years of legal experience, with ample first-chair trial experience at the State and Federal Court levels.

In addition to serving as lead counsel on over 400 workers’ compensation administrative trials, Mr. Thompson was the editor of the Texas Association of Defense Counsel (TADC) Workers’ Compensation Newsletter for several years and served as instructor at the 2001 TADC Trial Academy. He also leads various continuous education presentations for insurance clients and third-party administrators.

Kevin is a native Texan, is married with two children, and often serves on various boards and committees for his church and community.  In his spare time, he loves woodworking, cooking, and golfing.
