D. Rynn Freiling

A shareholder of Downs & Stanford, P.C., Mr. Freiling’s decades of diverse legal experience equips him to handle a variety of cases. His principal areas of practice are insurance litigation, personal injury litigation, product liability, subrogation, workers’ compensation, and breach of contract litigation.

Rynn is board certified in Workers’ Compensation Law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization. His practice regularly takes him before the Texas Department of Insurance’s Division of Workers’ Compensation where he has handled thousands of administrative hearings. In addition, he has served as in-house trial counsel for national insurance companies. His post-graduate judicial clerkship with two United States district judges provides him a unique understanding of both state and federal civil litigation.
