A shareholder of Downs & Stanford, P.C., Mr. Morse’s legal experience includes a concentration on insurance defense with a focus on workers’ compensation litigation for approximately thirty years. Charlie manages the Austin Board Representative services and handles a full docket of administrative and district court hearings. He has vast experience in handling appellate matters and has practiced before several Courts of Appeals, as well as the Texas Supreme Court. He is board certified in Workers’ Compensation Law, and his extensive litigation experience has allowed him to litigate over thirty judicial review cases to final verdict. Charlie prides himself in having the ability to handle workers’ compensation cases from “womb to tomb.”

Charlie graduated Suma Cum Laude from St. Mary’s University. After teaching elementary school for a year, he attended Texas Tech University School of Law and attained his Juris Doctor. Charlie served as a briefing attorney for the Eighth Court of Appeals in El Paso. He then became an Assistant Attorney General with the Texas Attorney General’s Office.
